I travelled to Athens, TX this weekend. \u00a0Athens is where I grew up and it’s where my family lives. \u00a0And as I mentioned in my post about Cheryl Hicks<\/a> – it’s where Gallery 211 is. \u00a0My journeyed mind and legs (tired from all that driving :-)) are whew… exhausted. \u00a0But I wanted to get a post up before I head to get some rest for\u00a0a long week ahead.<\/p>\n

I had a chance to talk with family (my parents as well my brother and his wife) about Badass Backpacks this weekend. \u00a0It’s an awesome feeling to see them so excited about these bags and about this project! \u00a0Their questions gave me a stark reminder that I need to get some important posts up on this blog: \u00a0I need to give some details on where this whole thing is coming from.\u00a0 The most beautiful questions were: \u00a0“Who<\/em><\/span> did you work with to get this thing done? \u00a0And what about that thing?” \u00a0Some of the most important details come down to collaboration and contribution from very specific people<\/em><\/span>. \u00a0And then those people become part of the story.<\/p>\n

It’s interesting to reflect on where you’ve come from. \u00a0My weekend journey to Athens gave me some road time to do just that. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
